Lakeview Academy, The American Red Cross, and the city of Saratoga Springs are joining forces to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for the LARGEST SQUIRT GUN FIGHT. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for Cassie Cox, a sweet young girl with an inoperable brain tumor, through several fun ctivities, although general admission is free.
The event will take place on the first day of summer, June 21 at 1:00 p.m. to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Saratoga Springs during their annual "Saratoga Splash" city celebration. The location is Harvest Hills Elementary 2 miles south of Camp Williams on Redwood Road. (2105 N. Providence Drive, Saratoga Springs, Utah 84045. Click on "SuperSoakerMan" for map.)
Active on many charitable levels, David, Doug, and Nathan of The Osmonds 2nd Generation will join us as our celebrity special guests, Mayor Timothy L. Parker will be speaking, the United States Navy will be out in full force facing off with the United States Marine Corps to start the event, and the American Red Cross will be on hand to raise awareness about emergency preparedness and to collect donations for supplies to help families in distress. Immediately after the world record is broken, the city fire department will hose down the crowd to cool things off.
So grab your squirt guns and super soakers and come help us make history. (Squirt guns also available for purchase on site; proceeds go to Cassie). You can count on bucket loads of cool summer fun, great music, food and refreshments, prizes, surprises, and you'll definitely get soaked to the bone!
